Conference Format and COVID-19
In view of ongoing impact of COVID-19 on international travel, COSMO’21 will be entirely in an online format. To make international participation easier, talks will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. U.S. Central time, and poster sessions will run both before and after.
2021 Gruber Prize in Cosmology
We are honored to announce that COSMO’21 will host the award ceremony for the 2021 Gruber Cosmology Prize. As part of the proceedings, prize recipients Marc Kamionkowski, Uroš Seljak, and Matias Zaldarriaga will each give a brief presentation on their work. The award ceremony will be online, open to the public, and free of charge.
In addition, early-career scientists attending COSMO’21 will have an opportunity to meet online with the the award recipients.
Congratulations to Profs. Kamionkowski, Seljak, and Zaldarriaga!
Outreach video competition
Submit your short video to bring the excitement of cosmology to the public! Conference attendees will vote, and the top videos will be shown on the last day of the meeting.
